Fishing Section
NHYC Fishing Fixtures for 2010
The Club has a fishing
section which runs a variety of competitions during the year and all members are
welcome to take part.
These include:-
Species hunts where points
are awarded for different species - highest number of points wins
Bream competitions where
only bream count
Flounder competitions where
only flounders count
Stinkpots v Yotties
competition where yachtsmen and motorboat owners jointly fish from the same boat
Shore competitions in the
winter
All fish have to meet
Angling Trust
regulations on size and a catch and return policy in is place with fish being returned to the sea
once measured
Posters are displayed in the
clubhouse before the event with details of start and finish times and will also
appear on the Club Calendar as a single line entry
