Coaching sessions

The Club runs a number of coaching sessions during the winter months to enable members to learn or brush up on boating skills.

Although the coaching evenings do not form a part of any formal training course and will not lead to RYA qualifications, they have been found to be very useful to those people who have attended.

Coaching evenings have been run for the following subjects:-

Knots and splices

Basic navigation

VHF refresher

Boat handling
